This young adult novel was pretty good. My son wanted to read it so I thought I would give it a quick read first. It was entertaining and very easy to read. I’d say good for 9+ and I think my son will love it.

This was a very good book and I enjoyed reading it. It took me a little longer than normal, I think because it took me a bit to get invested in it. It is one of those books that switches between two time periods and two main characters. I do not always love this style of writing, but it definitely fit this story and I eventually got drawn into each character.

This book was pretty good. It did take me a very long time to finish though. It was till the last quarter or so that I had a hard time putting it down. The first half I just didn’t really get into and found a hit hard to read. Somewhere around halfway through it did capture my interest and by the end I was having a hard time putting it down at night and ended up staying up too late several times haha. This author definitely told an interesting story and had a different take on this biblical tale.

This is a great book and plant based eating. I cannot wait to try many of the recipes in this book. So many look and sound delicious! I do wish it had a few more recipe pictures and some recipes contain difficult to find ingredients or seem complicated. Other than that what a great book! And I’m sure some people will enjoy the parts that I didn’t.

This was a very tough but good read. It was an eye opening read to a world that I am not familiar with at all. This brave author sharing her life and struggles was truly inspiring and thought provoking. Yes it will make some people uncomfortable at times, but I believe those moments are the most important. Reading things that push you out of your comfort zone or make you rethink your perceived view of the world are what make us grow, learn, and become better people and better members of our communities and this world. Well worth a read!

This book had some helpful tips, but it was a bit surface level. I wish it had delved deeper into the knowledge and solutions to some of the issues it talks about. A good overview though, but you will definitely need a lot more information.
