I have mixed feelings on this, I can see what Si Spencer's vision was but I feel it could've been executed better. I finished the comic with unanswered questions (namely the blood drinking??) I loved the choice to have a different artist for each era, I felt the styles really worked for the time periods they were depicting and I liked that each artist has a spread or a page that can really showcase their style. I think sometimes you do just have to read a weird comic and have a bit of fun, even if maybe it wasn't the greatest

As my first dip into "adult" discworld (when I was wee I loved the Tiffany Aching books) I think Guards! Guards! will always have a special place in my heart. Now that I'm a bit older I think I understand the puns and Pratchettisms that I won't have before. I love Carrot, Vimes, Sybil and of course Vetinari, I love how equally real and discworldy they are. Vetanri and his rats is a favourite bit of mine :]

After seeing the film a couple of times it was really interesting to hear the real people recount the story of LGSM. I liked hearing all of the perspectives and learning more about the people and the strikes

While it can't beat the 2014 run in my heart I absolutely love this run too. I hope we get to see more of Tanya and Melvin in the future, and the boys can teach them some more detective skills
