I didn’t love this read but some of the stories were interesting. I feel like this book really helped me realize that some memoirs have a message to learn and pass along while others are just a relay of personal information.

I re-read this book yearly. Janet Fitches writing is so beautiful and lyrical you become spellbound. It might not be for all but it’s amazing for those that like it.

The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle by Haruki Murakami

Did not finish book. Stopped at 64%.
I was 16 hours in and my god I could not take another second. The book was just story after story of other peoples lives and tangents on them. It got interesting when the main character was stuck in a well but that only last so long and then it got boring again. Super sad at how bad this was given how hailed the author is.
