I wish I could gave it more than five stars. What a fabulous book. I loved every bit of it. I like when the story gets vast and expand to beyond shocks and surprises. I loved the first book of this series and now this book. I just can't wait to read the next one of it.

The only disappointment I had from this book was it ended abruptly. Like you will think there will be more, there has to be more to it and while you're reading you will find yourself reading the last page with so many unanswered questions hanging there, which I am hoping I will find in next book.

Overall I enjoyed the book. I like reading a good book. I feel good after reading it. And this book gave me that.

"she screamed but only for a moment-before he brought the knife down again and again"

i like reading mysterious novels but i think with what Blake writes her novel makes it more saddened and it makes you more depressed. i mean i can't expect comedy in such novels but somewhere i think i shouldn't read such novels as its giving me a bad impact but also i like it. i mean evil has the tendency to tempts us really well.

"An unhappy alteration is before you, Elizabeth. From this day you must be a stranger to one of your parents. Your mother will never see you again if you do not marry Mr. Collins, and I will never see you again if you do"

"Stupid men are the only ones worth knowing, after all."

"Nor am i ashamed of the feelings I related. They were natural and just."

"But I confess they would have no charms for me -- I should infinitely prefer a book"

"I am a selfish creature; and, for the sake of giving relief to my own feelings, care not how much I may be wounding yours"

The acknowledged lovers talked and laughed, the unacknowledged were silent"

The book was okay. Not saying it was bad but it took me two weeks to complete it. it was something off guard. Love the writing technique obviously. The only reason I read this is because so that if anybody inquires me reading any famous book I can name this one.

Chapters have lengthly. Anyway the story was okayish. So many twists and turns. A different storyline though. I would never think of such things to exist but it does in this strange world. People can be cruel, selfish and ruthless. I would give this novel 3.5 star because of the long chapters.
