I have seriously conflicted thoughts on this book, and I know it's being coloured by a couple of factors
1) I am not the target audience for a book about a bunch of kids in college
2) I WAS (am?) Cather, am a die-hard fangirl, write fanfiction and have blown off assignments etc for writing fic, and have avoided meals in front of people due to anxiety.
And the whole reason I picked the book up was that I was super excited to see a book that reflected me, that was about people like me and written by a member of fandom. While part of me adores Cath, and I did enjoy the really gentle adorable growth of her relationship with Levi, her friendship with Reagan and how she and Wren found their way back to each other, I spent a lot of time being very frustrated with the characters, their actions and choices. I also found I struggled with the choppiness of Rowell's writing, I didn't feel all the plot threads wrapped up and because of that I found the ending to be super rushed and not satisfying,
