Holly Jackson just keeps getting better and better. I think i might have felt more tense at points than i did during As Good As Dead which is a feat. Her writing just keeps getting better and better - one can always rely on Jackson to write a twisty mystery novel.

Definition of a lighthearted and felt heart book which became more queer as it went on. Such a relaxed style and all characters  had great depth. I found myself laughing, smiling, and gasping at some characters’ audacity in the no girlfriend rule.

Good idea and premise, poor execution, lack of character depth, poor writing

Casey McQuiston first wowed me with I Kissed Shara Wheeler, then again with One Last Stop and now Red White and Royal Blue is one of my favourite books. The storytelling, the character development, the depth each character holds is all amazing. The writing is sad but hopeful,  joyful and beautiful all at once. The characters are so so loveable (like all MQuiston novels) and I would 100% recommend Red White and Royal Blue. Also it’s a crime the film did not include June.

Fantasy is really not my cup of tea but I did quite enjoy this book. The character develop and world building was amazing! I’d totally recommend if you’re a fan of fantasy with a lot of lore.

this deserves the hype so much more than I thought it would. It was like a John green novel but more queer and more fun and SAPPHIC!!! actually really loved it and would recommend. The writing style and the characters are done so so well!

Alyson Derrick smashes it out of the park. Forget Me Not is heartbreaking and hilarious (i genuinely lol’d) i also nearly cried. the ending is everything, and while i didn’t love the prose at the beginning i feel in love with it by the end. this is obviously perfect for fans of how to get the girl and all other Alyson Derrick or Rachel Lippincott fans! it’s the perfect, heartbreaking yet healing sapphic romance ! (i also read it in less than 24 hours!!)
