Cute but the dialogue was a little clunky and not as well written as the rest of the book

Not horrible but it felt like we were going in circles and not getting anywhere, it was very weird how much the detective was talked about before being introduced into the story

Meh, nothing was done very well, it’s a romance annnnddd mystery and instead of a usual slow burn romance that I’m used to it was a let’s get married by the end of the book. All the elements were there for a good book but they didn’t meld into a good book.

Was it just me or did this book go widely off track the last quarter of it? I have to say Frederick was pretty boring and I would love to read Reginald’s book with the accountant

This one was pretty thrilling but it was obvious who the killer was from the beginning and I wish the ending was tied up a bit more cleanly
