Norse Mythology by Neil Gaiman
4.0
My knowledge of Norse Mythology is limited to what Marvel movies have shown but it is much bigger than that. Neil Gaiman's writing is compelling and informative. The story escalated from the beginning of Asgard and other realms to the Ragnarok.
It answers the questions I had like how Odin lost his eye? How Thor got his Hammer and why it has so short handle? Can Thor die?
I enjoyed the chapters The Treasures of God, The Master Builder, The Children of Loki and Frey's Unusual Wedding and enjoyed visualising Loki, Thor, Gullenbursti, Jormungundr, Fenrir :)

Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn

Engrossing.
As I was going through the story, it was predictable. But all I wanted to know was why? WHY?WHY??
Though I couldn't able to pass a few pages of gone girl, Gillian Flynn got me this time :)
