The Design of Everyday Things by Donald A. Norman

My number one takeaway from this book is that I need to use the word and a lot less in my own writing.
The sections defining the basic design concepts felt useful. Don Norman has gathered a collection of terms for concepts that I now have a better understanding of. The discussion on the different factors that must be considered in design was also informative. I don't have too much else to say other than that I found this book pretty tedious and the technological speculation, which was often inaccurate, made it feel dated. I'm glad I read The Design of Everyday Things because I have wanted to for a long time but I would have much preferred someone told me which chapters to skip beforehand.
