I think this had the potential to be a really good book if only it was longer to really flesh out the lore and the romance.

It was an interesting mystery, and I appreciated the references to the author's other books. However, I felt that the book seemed to follow a similar formula to the other books that have been written.

This book is just as amazing as the first in the duology! I love how it delves into Greek mythology in a relatively approachable way, and how the emotions of various characters are depicted through the book. Almost impossible to put down without reading in one sitting.

Amazing writing that compels you so much that it is difficult to put the book down. I absolutely adore the interactions between the characters in the book and how realistic their characterisations are! Overall, it's an incredible sapphic fantasy with both Greek mythology and plant magic.

In my opinion, this was a good end to the series. I loved the developments of some characters throughout this book, especially Fenrys. However, in a way I felt that despite the threat of Erawan being built up so much in prior books it seemed that he was defeated far too easily. As well as this, I felt as though the sheer amount of characters in this book led to a number of them not being fully utilised or developed.
