Hmm. 
I didn’t love this one, Keri. 
I did enjoy the first half of the book- loved the flash backs, they were my favorite parts. But close to the end things got too weird and wild , it just didn’t feel the same. 
I love the writing and the premise but this one missed the mark. I don’t think I’ll continue this duology.

I originally DNFed at 20% this due to a rather AWFUL narration on audible. (If you listened to the original one, the sick narrator, you know what I mean 🤮)
Decided to reread on kindle a year later and I’m so glad I did. Such a great book. I loved all the characters, the drama, the spice , and the DRAGONS. 
I’m excited to read the next one, but guarding my heart so it’s not ripped out again 😭😭

How did I even get this far?
One of the worst books I've picked up. Terribly annoying characters, zero chemistry between MCs, uninteresting dialogue and lord the writing , I cringed so many times. 
Do your self a favor and skip this one.

I wish I could rate this higher. I suspect this might be my favorite read of the year and it’s just January. I need sometime to come down from the high and then I’ll put more into this review.

I started this months ago and just haven’t finished. It just didn’t capture me despite the cool ass world.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 22%.

I cannot stand Flea and her choices,  naivety. It’s been grating on me since page 1.   
The “romance” feels too forced and there’s no connection…. and I’m just not enjoying this one so I’m putting it down to move on.

Albeit predictable, it was a very fun read!
It was like Hunger Games … but with devils and ghosts.
Good mix of mystery, spice and action, which I love…. But It wasn’t a 5* read. I think the end was rushed and cheap which is what kept me from making this a 5*.
Overall, it was FUN, and I’d happily read the next one !
