This book reminded me of Hot Fuzz in the best possible ways
Can't wait to read the sequel and see what happens with the movie.

This was a great criticism of artificial intelligence and the capitalism of Hollywood.

My wife aptly described this book as an expression of feminine rage. "Slewfoot" narrates the story of Abitha, a woman living in 1666, an era rife with tales of witches and devils. The narrative prompts you to ask — who were the real devils? As a reader, you're drawn into her world, experiencing the fear, frustration, and defiance that come with challenging the status quo. The author's portrayal of Abitha's struggle for autonomy in a patriarchal society is both poignant and empowering.
