I feel like I’ve been through so much with Chloe + Warren in this book. They’re both new guardians to their siblings and get paired up to live together to relieve some financial burden. We get to see them over the span of 5 years if you include the epilogues. Chloe feeling “incredibly unsupervised” while caring for her newborn sister is so relatable 🥹 Warren stepping up and helping Chloe even before they’re together… UGH ❤️

I just had such a good time reading this book. Early 2000’s rom-com vibes 😍 If you like the movies The Proposal + Miss Congeniality, read this book! I also love how the narration makes it seem like she’s talking to me 😅
Spit fire review: 🏒 Were the characters fun? Yes 🏒 Was the storyline mind blowing? No 🏒 Did I keep reading for the smutty scenes? Yes 🏒 Were there some nicknames I didn’t love? Yes 🏒 Should it have been 200 pages shorter? Yes (it was 544 pages 🥵) 🏒 Did I find the writing easy to read? Yes 🏒 Did it contain a couple of my least favorite tropes? Yes 🏒 Will I keep reading the rest of the series? Yep, yep!
If you’re looking for a cute and clean small town romance, this is it! If you love Virgin River (the tv show), you’ll love this book. I am definitely going to be reading her first two books of this series!!
The paper rings was the only part that captivated me…. And that was on chapter 34… so far into the book. Overall not a bad read, just not enough depth for me!
