Enemies to lovers with a bit of Cinderella-like fairytale.
It's on slow side.
It is dragging.
It is underwhelming.
I love the overall premise of story but halfway through it, I started feeling like everything is too unreal — I know, I know. This is fiction. But there's just something about a story where every thing is too good to be true without a proper explanation to why it is actually happening. I was expecting that maybe Maren is a long lost princess or something, just to help me understand why Cornelia — a stranger, is so kind to her. I guess the story just started getting a bit ridiculous for my standards.
The romance is underwhelming. The characters have no appeal to me.
However, I actually love the Epilogue (though I don't like the time skip that much).

I never thought I needed a Thomas Cresswell POV until this.
I NEED MORE.
