This book was wild af. It was a good read though homeboy was just very intense. "Sit the fuck down you degenerates this isn't an orgy, it's a wedding" I died laughing so many times reading this.
Mafia✔️ Enemies to lovers ✔️ Forbidden romance ✔️ Insta love ✔️
This book was so good and the character development was on point. I loved the way Finn just knew the first time he saw Dante that he was going to be his forever. The getting there point may have been unconventional but it was so needed for them and I love that Finn respected Dante and didn't out him to everyone just to speed up his process. This was my first Bella Barnes book and I will definitely be taking a look at her back list and books to come because I definitely want to read Sienna's story and Julianna's because I feel like those will be so good as well.
This is a very cute novella with spice and plot. There is insta attraction and he protects her from her douche bag exboyfriend. We love a MMC who has piercings and who plays no games about staking claim over what he wants and he does that with no problem. The FMC is a plus size badass who needs to be reminded that she is that chick from time to time because her ex and family did a number on her about her weight. Her helping him solve the mystery behind the plot of the book was cute. The spice was good as well. I'd give it 🌶️🌶️🌶️/⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was my first book by this author and it definitely won't be my last. I loved the writing and the characters so much. Plus I found myself laughing so much during this book. Reading a book that had AAVE was refreshing and heartwarming. Also can I just say I really wish Abe would have went back and punched Gene in his face because why tf you starting unnecessary bs?
OMFG!!!! My heart!!! This book had me laughing and crying all in one session! Amelia, Ethan, and Oliver were just the freaking cutest. The issues Ethan had to work through and realization he came to was so good. The narrators doing this audio did such a great job! The perfect little small-town romance in a not so small-town. Amelia accepting Oliver and seeing them together was so heart warming.
It started off as a very cute slowish burn and I understand the reasoning behind that or at least thought I did because it seemed the MMC was so inlove and really wanted to make sure before advancing on with the FMC. I didn't care for the whole reality show need for this book and the ending really painted the MMC in bad light. I will admit I'm not a reality show fan irl so that may be part of my issue but that just seemed very off course for Griff and then the ending had me pissed because I didn't realize this was a duet and therefore it ends on a huge fucking cliffhanger that broke my heart.
Also I hated Hayden she didn't seem to actually care about any of her friends so I really hope she and Remi don't get a book.
Although I don't even know if I will read part 2 of this when it comes out because that was so drawn out to end like that. 😫😫
