Fans of Taylor Swift will really enjoy this debut YA novel from 16 year old author Kimi Freeman. Interesting plotlines and strong writing kept me invested in knowing what happens next. I'm interested in seeing the growth in this young author's writing.

The Bachelorette Party by Carissa Ann Lynch

3.5

A twisty whodunit during a bachelorette weekend in New Orleans, The Bachelorette Party is a thriller that will keep you guessing to the very end.

The premise and writing are solid, and the characters were fleshed out just enough to satisfy, but leave you guessing. My only note would be that while overall the pace was good, it did feel slightly rushed at the end. Overall, a great read - three and a half stars.
