The Neverborn Thief by Andrew Najberg
5.0
This book follows Connor a young boy who had his shadow stolen from him. Conner had three days to venture into the Shadowlands and get it back or will he lose himself forever. Unfortunately, the Shadowlands is a treacherous place-a disintegrating world run on deceit and betrayal, populated by monsters more terrifying than anything Connor's imagination could conjure. It is a place of hunger and discomfort where even the sun is little more than a dying coal in the sky and ash falls like snow over petrified forests. However, even as his struggles grow more desperate, Connor also learns there is good in the Shadowlands, friends who will help him, fathers desperate to save their sons, creatures who might be kinder than they look.
The writing is whimsical and I love the character development throughout the story with Connor.

I was so excited when I got approved for the Advance Reader Copy of Night Shift by Evie James & Craig Richards. It was a Workplace Romance with a Grumpy & Sunshine Trope. I loved Samantha’s & Dr. Atticus’s relationship throughout the book.
I loved this book. It was written in a beautiful and romantic way. This book would be a great read when you are looking for a workplace romance.
What drew me into reading Night Shift was certainly overall the voice recordings we were sent on the Night Shift Street Team and the title intrigued me and the blurb and the cover also did the job too.
Overall I have to give this book a 5/5 stars. The ARC is still in the early stages of the manuscript stage so changes may happen before the book is available for the general public. This book may appeal to people who like Workplace Romances. Thank you Night Shift Street Team for the ARC!
