Going into this book, I knew the case Pip was going to investigate had to be bigger than the two in the previous books. I mean, it's the series finale. The stakes have to be high. And the book started strong. Pip heard about the DT Killer and was investigating. I was really enjoying the book this far in. And I was on the edge of my seat when Jason Bell turned out to be the DT Killer and he kidnapped Pip. But I felt, I don't know what the right word is, disappointed (?) when Pip killed Jason and covered it up to make it look like Max Hastings did it. I just felt like this wasn't the Pip I loved. Which, the book comments on a lot, to be fair. The Pip who started things in the first book wasn't the Pip that ended it. I didn't like this new version of Pip as much. However, I did love the way the book ended.
