I only made it maybe 1/4th through the book. I'm not quite sure why I didn't finish this one, it has lesbian space necromancers and yet....the characters fell short. I was bored listening to the monotonous arguing between the main characters and before I knew it I was reading something else.

A cute light hearted romance with plenty of relatable characters and an MC who is a good person even through all of their hardship. A nice easy read for those who want a break from long stories.

It took me years to read this book and now I understand why. I lacked the capacity to comprehend the subtly of events, of how things connect, and how the actions of the past inevitably catch up.

It's very in-depth, if you let it be. Otherwise it really is just a story about a kid who wanted to go to school, to figure out how to get revenge for his murdered parents. And honestly, who wouldnt want revenge for that?

There is a little more adventure in this story than the first and a little more exploration between characters dynamics. I like how the supernatural creatures aren't center stage, but instead it is the characters and their individual outlooks.

It is a very spooky feeling kind of book that reads more like a conversation you are having with a story teller. There are wide gaps in time with little explanation but it fits with the sense of displacement. All 3 characters are different, but share that involvement in the supernatural.

Continues to be about a cute monster, and a strange human wanting to love it...and sleep with it and I need more

THE. ABSOLUTE. TENSION! It's got SPACESHIPS! It's got ROMANCE! and it has a super amazing trio from diverse walks of life! I enjoyed every minute of this book and I just really really need more!

It may be labeled as "fast paced" but it was slow and vague. Got bored really easily.
