Crush by Tracy Wolff

This book was pretty good and my slump had nothing to do with the book itself. I honestly loved watching Grace and Hudson's friendship unfold and I even wanted them to get together. I loved how he helped her let go and be herself and how recognized that she was capable of taking care of herself, but was there if she needed him. I loved their banter. All and all it was a very cute book, the ending really shocked me but made me really happy and anxious to get to the next book.

I didn’t feel as connected to this until ‘rest’ & ‘awake’ but it was still good and I still recommend it- considering books are subjective ♡
It Ends with Us by Colleen Hoover
5.0
I just want to say that this book is very intense and realistic in my opinion. The point of it ends with us definitely wasn’t meant to be comfortable. The opposite actually. It’s to raise awareness and have the readers learn about who Ryle really was with lily. So we would feel how she feels and understand how hard it would be if we were in that situation. Especially because SO MANY people say, “I would just leave the minute they hit me” when really, you don’t know until you’re in it.
I love this book with everything in me. I love it so much that I'm getting two tattoos inspired by it. I knew why it was hard for survivors to leave their abusers before reading. But, colleen executed the judgment of that choice and why it shouldn't be judged well. I loved the way that she had us fall in love with Ryle and then find out he isn't the best guy after all, just as Lily was. This book made me fall in love with the past-present perspective in books. Atlas and Lily's timeline was the cutest, most raw thing to watch unfold. It was definitely a really sad book at times and it was hard to read, but I didn’t really sob as I’ve seen from others. I did shed tears at the more graphic and hard-to-swallow parts. I think the reason for that is because it was so back and forth. From happy with atlas, to her story with Ryle- which most of the time just made me really angry for lily. The author's note is one of the things that really got me to be honest. Overall, this book has my whole heart and I'm happy I was gifted it to read. I think everyone should read it at least once in their life.

The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren

This was my first book by Christina Lauren and it unlocked a new favorite author. Their books are so cute and funny and wholesome. I felt like I was in Hawaii and I pretty much laughed this whole book. Their banter was hilarious and I'm so jealous of it lol. I know many readers didn't really care for the last 100 pages or so once they got back from Hawaii but I loved it. The way Ami handled Dane and that situation was so comical and just perfect. The spice in this book wasn't too much and I really liked it because even those scenes had their wholesome little moments. 10/10 recommend.

Although I was in a huge reading slump, this book was really good and I loved seeing things from Daniels pov. My slump wasn't because of the book at all. I especially loved seeing the moments with Gray and Alyssa. The Epilogue made me really happy was the best way to wrap up the story

This book was honestly so good even though it wasn't much of a romance at all. I really binged this any moment I had. I was shocked by all five couples in one way or another. I'm so glad that I read this and didn't just watch the series. as always- the book is better.

This book was pretty good and I didn’t realize it was something I’d need to hear. I wish could annotate it and look back on it. I might be getting a physical copy.

I hate to do this because I was super excited to receive this arc and I was interested at first. As time went on though, I found myself for whatever reason—not understanding or just not vibing with the writing style. I'm not sure if it's me and my brain just being in a bit of a fog for the way this is written or if it's the book itself. I have too many other books I think I would rather be reading. I will say though, I enjoyed Erin a lot and in the beginning, Thomas pissed me off with his view of himself in comparison to his view of others. Beyond that, I just don't think I was invested enough to fully appreciate what the author had to give with this book. I hope to give it another try someday though.
