Where the Drowned Girls Go, by Seanan McGuire

2.5 maybe? Or not? Idk. I read this cuz it was a short read, to get over my reading slump. There wasn’t even a new world in this. I just couldn’t care less for any of the characters. As for my reading slump, this book didn’t help.

This is my least favourite piece of writing by Madeline Miller. The narration didn’t feel like her style. The story was not that different from the myth except that Philoctetes didn’t like Odysseus. The story is sad but not that good.

Oh, how I miss Murderbot! I always love how Murderbot is so cool under pressure but is instantly nervous while interacting with others. I wanna read the final book but I don’t want this series to end. This is a very short 3 min read but I loved reading Murderbot’s pov again.

Ah so cute!

Haha, the adoption one’s great! I love the coloured comics! The 10yrs in the future ones are cute! There are three AU comics in the pack- also cute!

All in all, adorable.

Did not finish book.

I just couldn’t go on. The series bored me to tears. Might reread this series from the beginning but not anytime soon.
