ok claire kingsley's books always feel so heartwarming and this one was just that, with a grump man who ended up having a Christmas miracle and got the family and the love he deserves
isabelle and elias story was truly cute and fun and some parts sad but they fought and had their happy ever after!!
the motive for them to "separate" was just miscommunication and i hate that but overall it was a cute book, i liked it, i didn't get that attached to them but i like them i do, also alice and cole were so much fun, their little romance soo wholesome
overall i liked it, nothing out of this world, i did stopped reading for two days so yeah but i will definitely recommend for a cute small town Christmas romance read, with a grumpy man, a sassy woman and their second chance at love!

get a man that doesn't bring you flowers but instead brings you books to apologize>>>>>

at first i wasn't really feeling the book and i was sad because i love brittainy cherry so much but glad i ended up loving them, their story, their development together but also separately, it was truly fun, cute, sometimes sad and awkward but oh my so beautiful!! not only holly and kai were amazing characters, the side characters also stole the show, specially kai's brother mano, now i want his book 🤭
seriously read this Christmas romance book, it's short, it's cute, he helps her with dating and of course ends up falling for her and getting jealous of the guy she starts seeing, also has amazing and fun side characters who also kinda deserve their book (that ending with holly's brother and kai's best friend, i see it and i like it so i want t!!), overall a fun wonderful wholesome time!! the thing i kinda disliked was the ex scene and the "third act break-up" situation but glad it didn't took much time sooo!!

definitely an amazing beautiful heartbreaking story, kenan ross is the best man ever, lotus dupree is a freaking queen who rules the world period and together? they are unstoppable and oh so beautiful and hot and wholesome
i really thought their story was going to be my fave and tbh i was right, tho iris is still my fave fmc of the series, kenan and lotus story truly out sold!
bridget got on my nerves everytime she appread but im glad she didn't end up being all "evil" and woke up and finally saw kenan was happy with lotus and he did indeed moved on and lotus was good for their daughter and also simone poor baby, at some point she annoyed me but she was just a kid and her parents were divorced and always fighting and it wasn't really healthy so im glad they woke up and figured it out! tho it did took a awful thing to happen for them to open their eyes but yeah they did!
lotus also development and fighting her trauma was so amazing but also a painful journey to read and so glad she found someone who truly deeply cares and loves her no matter what, kenan and lotus truly make each other better and bring out the best on each other, just heartwarming!
wish i saw more of the other couples (tho loved seeing iris and august for sure ugh babies) and them all interact or something but what a series!! if you haven't read it, go please it's so good, with some heavy topics but seeing their journey and fighting for better it's so powerful so go read it!!

ok i started this book yesterday (december 10) in the afternoon just because i wanted something that kinda screamed winter and this book was looking at me so i said why not! and never thought i could literally read 300 pages in a day, like a afternoon and night damn
this book really intrigued me all the way, sucked me in and i didn't wanted to leave, i was so invested, seriously a surprised because even tho deep down i knew i was going to like, i never thought i could be that obsessed and so in love! not only in love with pip and her strength and mind and love for resolving crimes but also for ravi and his cute flirty way and sometimes shy but oh so funny and the story and all the secrets and figuring it out who really did it and it was so much more than that! pip going into it just to try and clear sal's name turned out to be a bigger thing and damn it was good!!
kinda suspected who was but truly there was a bunch of people who could've done so when she finally discovered who was, i wasn't that shocked but still the way it happened and why and idk it was intriguing!
i cried my ass off in one scene that im not going to spoil it but for those who read it why? why did that had to happen? it was so sad then ravi and pip fighting ugh i was already so emotional so i cried even more then!! but ravi being the best man that he is, came back the next day and figured it out "pip's kinda plan" to make him stop looking for the killer and for him to stay save, seriously ravi was magnificent, i feel in love with him right away eheeh
but overall, going to give the book 5 stars not only because of the mystery aspect of it, not only for the good amazing writing, not only for pip and ravi's characters also her best friend cara was pretty awesome too but adding all of that with the way i just was so invested and read it so fast and i couldn't just stop reading made me love the book more i wasn't really expecting it so yeah five stars i don't care!! might change in the future who knows but for now, five stars for sure and i can't wait to read their next adventure ehehe

so evan and fiona what a ride! one of the best things about this book is how fiona knows about cars and she can fix one idk i just love when the fmc loves cars and knows what she's doing and is passionate about them!
evan was a grumpy man who melted only for fiona it was so amazing and cute so see, also his dog that doesn't really like anyone except evan, ended up really caring for fiona too so obviously was meant to be period!! all the shenanigans with the bailey brothers was so fun, fiona getting in on a prank was epic, gavin being so flirty with her so he could get a reaction from evan also was epic and so good, that man is definitely my fave i can't really wait to read his book, i feel like it's going to be my fave but also seeing scene between cara and logan also make me so intrigued for their story ehehe
loved seeing evan finally opening himself up for someone else, finally letting someone in and loving him the way he deserves it and of course fiona finally finding someone worth it of her, someone who truly appreciates her and respects her and challenges her and just loves her deeply, just beautiful!! fiona was such a sunshine flower talking badass woman i mean love her!! then grace and cara totally befriending her right away and even inviting her to their little club in town not fully knowing if she was going to stay but they did anyway and welcome her with open arms, so wholesome indeed!!! really liked to see luke haven a little bit more in this group, and also liked that fiona just said the conflict between evan and luke was too far they should just stay with the pranks, she really said "grow up you're adults act like it"
overall i really loved the book as a whole, liked to see their development and their chemistry and their banter, just idk there's was something missing for me personally, I wasn't really obsessed with them like i was with grace and asher but it's different, they're different characters with other personalities so it's normal but i did love the book, i loved the storyline and with a little bit of a "criminal" plot ehehe and evan calling his brothers to help him save her and all, it was tense and fun tbh so yeah 4 stars, but im really really ready for gavin's book oh my let's go my baby

debut novel? damn i want to write like that, a beautiful book!! let's get the "bad" things out of the way first just because it's more personal liking and preference than really bad or wtv, wish there was more "development" before the "I love yous" tho please their banter and connection wad really good not that just wish there was more time period between them you know? also hm there was a scene or two that we don't actually read about/see it, but the characters tell the reader and im not the biggest fan of to be honest just, show me the scene. show me the characters living the scene or the other character seeing what happened, don't go straight to the "aftermath"of it! again just personal stuff because this book oh my, i don't have words to describe ophow much i love them, how much thiago was so down bad for kamari or how he treated her, how kamari with all that black cat attitude still was soft for thiago, how protected of each other they were, just so magical!!
everytime thiago opened his mouth i swear i just felt so many butterflies ugh. loved seeing kamari finally leaning toward someone and started to trust more and finally opening her heart, and also finding someone who truly sees her and helps her and challenges her and loves her so fearlessly, beautiful! then thiago finally having someone to talk to, to be right by his side no matter what! but seriously this man gosh i just need a thiago valencia on my life, please!!
overall. this debut freaking novel stole my heart, beautiful strong writing, powerful, unique and complex characters who finally have their happy ever after, just so good and i do hope everyone likes it this much as me. maybe not a top read but definitely won't stop recommend and god kamari and thiago's chemistry and banter and connection definitely is one of my faves ever so so happy, thiago also being ruthless and deadly at the races but such a damn gentleman and so golden retriever energy with kamari seriously damn and kamari being so hardworking and with a black cat energy, like a little grumpy tbh (i love her what a boss what a woman she's mothering period!!) but being soft and so carefree with thiago, they truly bring the best versions of themselves together, just amazing!!
please read it and fall in love with them, tho f1 is the sport and kinda focus of thiago in the book, it was so much more than that and i kinda miss f1 now haha, but read it!!

almost 3 stars i might change but idk just don't feel anything through them even tho i do like them just eh idk

even tho i only updated on goodreads like this month that I was reading this book, i officially started way back so meh still debating either 2.5 or 3, i liked sophie i like her truly, evan tbh was fun tho he was an asshole and took him long enough to open his eyes, when he did, he was so down bad that was so funny how he reacted to sophie how desperate for her he was it was fun so i liked that, just meh idk i don't have big strong feelings through the book tho i am intrigued by zachary idk if i will continue with the series but let's see
it was a fun read, wish i could see more of their connection but the way evan was truly so down bad for sophie was the highlight of the book !!
