Best book I've read in 2024! I read it while my electric was out due to hurricane milton and finished it in a couple of hours! I absolutely couldn't put it down. I'm usually a romance and mystical reader but wanted to try something new and it really opened me up to a whole new genre. 
The main character is spunky, but not overbearing, smart but not uptight and mainly she is determined to figure out the mystery of this writer she just took on!

I think it shows the complexity of abusive relationships from the victims point of view but also shows the how and why the abuser became that way. 
I think it's a little unrealistic in the ending but let's you catch a glimpse of someone escaping DV.
