I really enjoyed this! Rooting for Hades? NOT SHOCKING. I mean really… at this point I’m always rooting for the easy “villain” that isn’t truly a villain.

There were so many parts of this book that made me smile, parts that clenched by heart, and parts that had me wanting to throw my kindle. But I LOVED Lyra’s determination to be and do more. Not just for herself but for the others around her. She was awesome and the perfect champion for Hades (and the entire Crucible).

I did NOT realize this was going to be more than one part. That ending😳😳😳 I wasn’t ready. I mean I knew I was getting close to the end and could sense more was coming but dangggg I wasn’t expecting THAT! I can’t wait to read whatever comes next and thoroughly enjoyed this one!

I wish I could go back and have my first listen of this again. I loved it so much!!! I laughed, I squealed, I cried (if you know you know), I felt all the emotions!!! So so good. But also… Ms. Yarros… WHY!!!

I loved part 1! Ah I devoured this quickly, was grinning and laughing through so much of it. Immediately drawn in within the first 5 minutes. Now I want to get the physical copy…that’s how much I’m enjoying this. Onto part 2!!

As much as I hate to say it… this may have been the best one in the series for me 😩😩 AND my dislike for Nesta is so low it’s almost as if I like her 😩

There was growth in this part that I knew was coming but was much better than expected. Parts that happened that I should have seen coming but didn’t. And the end was so beautiful. I really enjoyed this one and now struggle with what to listen to next!!

I don’t like Nesta. Like not even a little bit. I don’t like that for the most part, this half she was coddled. Everyone just letting her be a big B (spare a few outbursts from some) but it’s giving “oh that’s just Nesta” when really… someone needs to tell her about herself. I’m sure I’m at her character arc and maybe this will change but MAN!! I’ve never disliked a FMC as much as I do her.

Whew. Now that that’s out. I love that we get more of the priestesses. I love the house (can I get an enchanted house please). I’m happy for Rhys and Feyre but sad we don’t get more of them. And I’m so proud of Elain. This one was slow-ish but good. Diving into part 2 now!

I will never get enough of Joyce and Aiden… and this one just gave us so much more of them.

Enter a god. Start the chaos. And boom there’s the drama. But this was so much more! In book 1 we got to see Joyce come to terms and step up, sure… but in book 2 we get to see how she’s grown. Her confidence is soaring (mostly). She’s the bad B we all dream to be. Still hilarious and living as the queen she is. I love her.

And Aiden! 🥵 never enough, okay!! That’s it. Period. Because the way he rides for Joyce is top notch! That’s his woman and he will literally move heaven and earth to be by her side. 😍

“I did get a full life. I lived a thousand lifetimes in one year. You love me. I got to be loved. That’s enough for me. What more could I ask for?”

And to top it off the conclusion of this was one of the most beautiful endings I’ve read recently. Had me cheesing and getting all teary eyed like I’m a main character. I went through all the emotions reading this and it was so worth it.

This was a cute one that I imagine was a good teaser between books 3 and 4. I found myself smiling a lot more in this book and it was great to hear a side story from almost everyone. I wish Moor’s side wasn’t thrown in at the end but I look forward to more Moor 😉. I also NEED more Az after this. Why is he not getting more already!! We finally get a laugh and that’s it!

I enjoyed this and look forward to moving to book 4.

Oh and I hate Nesta more after this one. I’m sure I’ll understand her why, especially after her little bit in this one, but gosh that girl needs to get thrown into the Sidra!!!

Wings and Ruin may be my favorite of the series so far! The drama… intense. Spice was still spicy (moderate I’d say). There was growth for Feyre which is good. Rhys is still dreamy 😍.

I dislike tamlin a little bit less but he still has issues he needs to work through. However, I’m okay if we do not continue to see him 😂😂

There were so bombs dropped that left my jaw dropped! I mean LUCIEN! How has no one else figured it out???

It was really great seeing all the courts pull together in one book. I do hope we get more and more of that. I want to learn more about so many of the other high lords. I know we will probably remain in the core group but it was nice while it lasted.

Overall this has been my fav so far! I’m sure we are moving into more Nesta and Cassian… I like the Cassian part and the verdict is still out on whether my dislike for Nesta will change.
