this was a hard read for me, but I really loved it. to see river be able to escape from the demons that surrounded her and be able to build a beautiful life for herself was inspiring to see. especially since we can't legally have the same type of justice in real life.

I will say that I absolutely hated the immediate proposal and pregnancy trope at the end - it's why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

this story had me hooked, I accidentally stayed up till 3:00am too focused on reading. my heart hurts for sawyer, trinity and her sister. full of twists and turns, I never knew what was coming next. I love this book.

sibby is my spiritual guide. I love everything about this girl. she overcame such a terrible upbringing, and (even though she might not always make the best decisions) she used her pain (and crazy) for what I personally consider a good cause. I was laughing anytime she had her henchmen doing things for her,

knowing that they don't actually exist.
