Absolutely amazing read.
I would go as far to say this was one of the best books I've ever read.
I laughed, I cried, I gasped, there were moments of joy and heartbreak.
The experiences of women of colour respected and told so beautifully

I listened to this on audiobook which I'd greatly encourage as the narrator really brings the story to life with her amazing storytelling.
I got way more from this than just a crime book.
Only a shame it wasn't longer as I would have loved to have more story and some further character development. I look forward to future work of the author

Honest, moving and gritty.
It feels like having a girly chat with a friend over wine when you haven't caught up with each other in years.
I loved it and listened to it all within 2 days.
It woukd be great for a holiday listen
