While this is my least favorite trope that I will read - love after loss - I enjoyed this one. I really liked how both of them went into this knowing that they weren't replacing their lost spouse and neither one felt second best. What did bother me though was that she moved on so quick. It was like a month or two after her fiance passed while he had a year to grieve. I don't know that doesn't sit well with me. She didn't even go to his funeral - I just don't feel like she truly grieved him and said goodbye. I know everyone's grief process is different but this just seemed too quick.

100% a me thing and I knew it going in. I don't understand the intrigue with sharing. I don't understand how someone can be really possessive and jealous but share their love interest with the one person that is the main source of that jealousy. Since teasers let me know a threesome was coming, it felt like most of the book was all about that - Cali's obsession with "groupies" and all Torren and Jonah did with them and how she would never be a groupie. It was borderline disgust on her part then all of a sudden it was a desire of hers. It didn't add up even if I try to say it was a repressed desire. Maybe its my issues that I see it that way.
