I've been looking forward to Cal's book since The Fine Print, but unfortunately, it was underwhelming. It started of rather promising, but I lost interest about half way through for Alana and Cal's relationship. I would have loved to see some scenes where they are doing something with fixing the house together. Alana's personality felt lacking to me compared to Cal and even Cami.

Cal, on the other hand, I LOVED. One of the main reasons I read this books so fast was because I wanted to get to his POV.

I wished I loved this book more than I did.

The best part of this whole book was the relationship between Cal and Cami (any child that can swindle a grown ass man out of six hundred dollars has my heart) ♡

I didn't think I would like a couple more in this series, than I liked Weston and Callie, but Crew and Raven ♡♡♡♡

Do I think Raven could have been developed a little more before the last 20%?? Yes
Do I not care because I loved Crew so much it made up for it?? Also Yes

Crew was definitely my favourite brother in this series, closely rivaled by Weston. The way he shows his affection, the way he shows it to Raven ♡♡

Me and Devney Perry books have a love/hate relationship, but this book was honestly so good.

I love Weston and Callie's relationship, it felt like I was reading about an actual genuine couple. There wasn't one part of this book that I didn't like, even the third act conflict didn't bother me.

I feel like Yarros' could write anything, and I'd probably love it. Can't wait to read more of her backlist.

I liked the plot of this book, but didn't feel the connection between Ava and Reed unless it was in the flashbacks. It felt like I was reading about 2 different couples, and I definitely felt more of a connection between the MC's in the past. Also didn't care much for the family business in this one, and the third act 'conflict', seemed pointless.

... I don't know how to feel after finishing this book. I didn't want it to end and now that it has... I'm going to have one hell of a book hangover. This is all I'm going to be thinking about for the foreseeable future. I need the next book more than I need air.

Violet and Xaden deserve so much more, my heart breaks for all the author is putting them through 😭💔

How is it that the last book in this series (so far), is the best of the lot??

... I'm just glad I got to see Conner and Ronan again 😏😏

This series had so much potential. I feel like it could have been wrapped up in 1 or 2 books. Seriously, there are enough spicy scenes in this series to fill 2 whole books... and they aren't even good scenes. I'm sick of Abbi, shes so childish and needs to grow up. I don't even like Henry, but he still deserves better. I feel like Abbi needs to grow as a person before they even think of continuing a relationship.

Honestly, if this series wasn't free on Audible, I would have probably DNFed it after the second book.

At this point, forget Henry, I just want Abbi with Ronan and Conner.

This was a fun read. The ending made it for me.
