In this book, I must say, that I did not recognize  Gabriel De Leon because he seemed totally different to me than the first book. I very much appreciated that the story was not totally focussed on Gabriel but indeed,  we learn more about Celene that, I have to say, she is my favorite character in this book.

This book has been on my TBR for years!!!! (2018) I read another book from this author and enjoyed it plus I love Japan and its culture. Unfortunately, I didn't like the book, I felt there were so many details that we didn't need (like the description of the pics, which we had in the book), and at the same time, we got so little about Sada Yacco (or maybe I was the one that need more).

I know it is unfair but I was put off about all the drama with the publishing but I was curious about it so I read the book…..I didn’t like it a bit!
Violet: She got to my nerve through out the book! She is supposed to be very smart but in this book, she look pretty dump(to me).
Xaden: My only question is: how is possible that the SON of a rebel was able to go wherever he want ?!?!?
Quote: “navarra safe requires teamwork” in the first book they trying to kill each other every 5 min and now it is all about team work ??!!

Jack(fuck££&)Barlowe: why???? Maybe in the next book is going to to be more relevant? I didn’t need him in this book.

This my first read from this author. I really enjoyed her writing which it is “simple” to read for someone like me, English is not my mother tongue. The story is a classic vampire-werewolf romance. My only complain is the end which it feels rush for me.
