Definitely the weakest in the series. Very much character based, which wouldn’t have been a bad thing if I felt much towards Vanessa, but I found her chapters pretty boring. Chev’s character is endearing, likeable and pretty funny - he definitely carried the book!

Not my favourite of the series but it was a lovely way to round out their story! Some hard hitting themes that were dealt with well too. The characters are written brilliantly, with each personality shining in their pov chapters.

This was such a lovely book that dealt with loss, grief, relationships that are weird and wonderful, and a touch of growing up surrounded by ghosts. Not what I expected going in, but a real treat nonetheless!

I’m a little bit in awe of this book. The writing was so incredibly immersive,  I felt drawn into the story really quickly. It was a lot more emotional than I had anticipated and combined with the eerie atmosphere, I was fully invested. For a surprising and pleasant change, I didn’t see the twist coming and felt a little blindsided (and also a bit stupid). This book may be short, and I wouldn’t say it’s sweet exactly, but it was incredibly enjoyable to read. Highly recommend!

This was incredibly addictive, I couldn’t put it down once I’d started! A dystopian fantasy with intense emotions and pretty high stakes. Think the handmaids tale, but scaled up to 100 and less religion (and demons too). Pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed this!

Another sweet story set in an idyllic small town with found family and a host of fun side characters. The scavenger hunt event was a cute background plot bringing them together, but the miscommunication did drive me a bit mad by the end. Enjoyed it regardless and I’m looking forward to the next two in the series!

Surprisingly sweet, with not too much Scottish slang that meant it was cheesy. The setting, season and overall vibe was perfect for this time of year.

I don’t have the words to describe how much I love this series. Sharp and witty, with tension to make your heart ache and humour that makes you laugh out loud. I’m utterly obsessed. Can’t wait for the next book!
