I really loved this, the art style blew me away, with all the small details of the flowers and the clothing making the world feel very lived in.
I do think that I would have liked to see more of Anya and the older moth keepers relationship, especially since Anya didn't have parents it would have been good to see more of their bond, as it felt like Anya was thrown into the deep end of their Job immediately.
But other than that I loved this whole story, love the use of mythology and stories as a way of communication and the theme of lost time.
Grief and feeling lost
It was an amazing story

I liked this a lot more than I thought I would.
It is a great concoction of cosy fantasy coupled with studio ghibli esk vibes.
I really like the messaging behind the story, however I do this the romance was a bit rushed in places. I really hate the line "I know how he looks at you" makes me roll my eyes every time. But otherwise I think this is a good solid book!
O and of course meep and caz are my favourites!!!
