There's a certain longing within me to lavish more adoration upon this series, akin to my immediate infatuation with the author's other fantastical creations. However, this one, despite its shimmering potential, falls short of captivating my heart. A saving grace, however, is the series' revised edition, which is a far superior rendition compared to its predecessor which, regrettably, I had previously abandoned mid-course.

The enthralling dance between Jules and Josh in this novel is a paradox of love and loathing. Jules, ensnared by her past, and perennially doubting her own worth, plays a fascinating role. Josh, with an uncanny knack for turning every ripple of pain around him into a reflection of himself, serves as an equally captivating counterpart. Their shared vocation, which necessitates extensive communication, intriguingly contrasts with their individual shortcomings in this regard.

The thrill of the Six of Crows Duology continues to enchant me. I find myself drawn to each of Leigh Bardugo's books, in pursuit of that elusive sensation. Yet, even with a narrative as finely woven as this (and truly, it is remarkable), I find myself grappling with the task of rating it against the lofty benchmarks set by Six of Crows.

Finishing this book was bitter sweet. The twisted sisters did an amazing job bringing closure to the beloved zodiac academy  series. I cried, laughed and cheered.  ZA is definitely a series I will reread over and over again

Dark, vile, disgustingly horrifying.

Beautifully written.

A must read for any horror fan

LaRocca's collection  of short stories will leave you staring out into a void while you have to recover.
