A little slow but the writing was really beautiful so I enjoyed being in the story. Not a super unique twist.

This book is so close to being 4 stars based off the fact that I was so driven to find out what happens at the end. But the execution of the story was a bit too long and meandering. But a fun read for sure.

The ending wasn’t my favorite honestly. I would have loved to have closed out the book with Zoe and Marianna hashing things out.
I ripped through this book so quickly. I really enjoyed the writing and the story.

I could barely put this story down. The audiobook performer did a fantastic job reading the story but also the writing is very good. Loved the twists! Definitely didn’t see all of them coming.

This was my favorite of the Lucy Foley books I’ve read. The setting was perfect and the strings of her mystery were tied up so beautifully at the end. All of her books are similar but this was the best constructed.

All I’ll say is that I LOVE a petty bitch and this was a sneaky version of that blessed trope. Felt like this was a bit long and meandering at times. Loved the dual perspective. It is a slow burn but the burn pile at the end is worth it.

One of the most fascinating books that I’ve ever read. Being in a mind of someone so different from me was magical honestly. Beautiful, descriptive and funny!

This book could have been about half as long. I wanted to know the ending desperately, so it kept my attention, but i just wish it wasn’t belaboring Bodie’s points/anxieties so much at the first half of the book.
The ending wasn’t the most satisfying but I think that makes it more realisitic in terms of the US justice system.
