This was a sweet story, if a but predictable. If you're looking for a warm hug and a hot cup of tea, look no further. Im just more of an *emotional damage* type girl. 💕

This is a 5 star if I ever read one, try and fight me. But also - read the triggers if your squeamish because she is a dark one.
My one quip is - shes 19. He's a few centuries. Ick. I get were going for an especially anti-women culture with a sprinkle of time change, but come on.

I had a good time, but I wanted this to explore much more of the characters individually & their dynamics. The set up was great, but I felt like It didn't go far enough after that.

The Butcher and The Wren was my first dip into a horror/thriller vibe and it did not disappoint. The Butcher Game delivered a compelling sequel that felt like being inside a main villain arc in Criminal Minds. It was a good (but also really bad) time.

Obsessed. The writing was beautiful and made the whole experience of the story feel etherial and dreamy.
