From the beginning I was hooked and rooting for Willow after my heart absolutely broke for her. I was so happy when she found her way to Briar Valley. Her story is hard and she deals with her trauma through the book which I'm always thankful that J Rose includes in her stories.

Things in the small town of Briar Valley are a little... Different. Everyone is more accepting of unique relationships 👀 I loved the banter about this  and the fact that Willow and her guys relationship wasn't out of the norm.

All of the main men had such fun and different personalities and stories. Killian the typical masculine mountain man, Zach the goofy twin and Micah 🥹 our sweet tortured soul twin. I will always have a soft spot for the sweet men J Rose gives us. Reading about him coming out of his dark shell & inexperience was really heart warming. Along with all the side characters, they really made this book so amazing and me not want to put it down.

I am a little speechless about this book. The dread, panic, and stress this book had me going through for over half of it was intense.

I really enjoyed the secret society plot and I think it was done very well. It wasn't all rainbows and happy like you might expect and the twists really were not things I saw coming. Add in a feel of Lady Whistledown, which I loved.

Chris..... What can I say about this unhinged man. His words, his actions, it all put me on some high highs and low lows. BUT I am obsessed. I have never highlighted so many things in a book EVER. He's got me on my knees for sure.

Ella was a decently strong FMC and I related with her feelings of herself as a woman and the harshness we bring on ourself. Her internal struggles through the entire book were spot on.

I really did love this book and chapter 42 had me ugly crying. I would love to see more of their story as well as some of the other Circle men stories!

I received an ARC of this for my honest review.
