"Every time Cas or Theo make a throw, I use my magic to make their balls shift just very slightly off course so none of them land in the cups. The most hilarious part is they’re too drunk to realize what I'm doing."
As the second book in the Cricket Kendall series, Wildflower did not disappoint with its sweet and engaging storyline. If you loved the first you would love this, if you haven't read Cricket and want a book to make you smile go read it now!
Be prepared that this book does not give all the answers! They take this time to develop a real connection and open up for backstory. Some other questions are introduced and book 3 cannot come soon enough.

If you have read the other Last Chance books already, little coercion will be needed to devour this in one sitting. Finishing the series is so bittersweet, but this book was a beautifully written masterpiece. Over the last year Alex Lidell has become one of my favorite authors between Last Chance and Lera of Lunas, and with this book we get a little crossover to pull at the heartstrings that Alex already likes to keep wound tight while reading her books. Also the steam is 5 star!
If you have not read the others in the series and are looking for your heart to go on a Rollercoaster, read this series and all of Lera's books first.

Shadow is the second in the Black Queen Series and did exactly what I wanted it to do. In my review of the first book I said that a lot of things and people were introduced, leaving us wanting more of their story.
We got to delve deeper into most of the characters histories and see development into more dimension as well.
I'm still guessing and wondering a week later how they all come together.

Cricket is still one of my favorite comfort characters! We finally reached her birthday and find out who her mate(s) are, but are left with more cliffhangers than answers at the end of this book. The story branches out even more to the other people in her circle showing us pieces of where their stories may go. Definitely ready for
I love the introduction of Rainer and can't wait for him to be a bigger part of the story. I'm hoping book 4 has some action. We got the angst drama in this book but I want to see them kick butt at something!
