It’s was good. But it was just to “Christian” for me. I get it’s expected with the plot and all but I get annoyed when people start talking a god and religion and praising it. I lost someone and after that my relationship with god was strained. It wasn’t strong to begin with but… and when Sean had his literally come to Jesus moment I got very disinterested. That being said. I do wanna continue to series cause the writing is so damn good.

This book read like a scholarly article. The gigantic sat works back to back were very unnecessary. It made this book a chore to finish. Also how you gonna title this book after a war when you only get maybe 2 battle scenes of said war and by a little over the halfway mark the war is over? If the second book read like this I’m not reading it. 

This book kinda made me hate reading.

Just didn’t enjoy the ending. It got bad after iris and Attie went down to stop dacre. Just seemed like the author was trying to quickly wrap things up. It was a bit of a let down. The “fight” was anti climactic.

There is 0 emotional connections they never had an actual conversation so idk how she can be so in love with him. And she knew what their relationship was yet she still expected more from him.

The book was good. I love how Edison didn’t flinch with her talk of murder. It kept me on my toes. But the ending just didn’t hit. There something about that last chapter that’s lacking and idk what it is.

This book is absolute gold. An amazing peice of literature. I loved every little thing about this book. The ending was a complete twist. Something’s I see coming but that last chapter and epilogue surprise.

This was very cute. Love reading more about this world from different pov’s. I wish I would know more of how aspen and Lucy got together. And I definitely want more of Macon’s pov with the other books.

Apparently I read this in high school but I reread it for my besties Christmas gift that’s 3 months late.  The whole story  had me grinning nonstop but the ending wrecked me. Only one question. “WHY????”

I understood what was going on a lot more in this book than I did the last book. But imma fight brown on site if I ever meet him for what he did.
