Really solid story- it did take me a while to really get into it. I didn’t love the beginning. But once you get to know the characters and the town it is just lovely! The final conflict was realistic and I thought the pacing was good, which is an issue I sometimes have with these types of books.

Love this series so much! Really enjoyed Emily as a character in this one, and I thought the dynamic between her and her niece was well thought out.

Honestly really liked! A good intro to Sanderson as an author without the intimidation of his larger series. Really good world building.

Good for autumnal vibes and good story, but something about it just didn’t do it for me.

Oh I loved this. It reads like a love letter to all romance books, in a way I loved. The way she described the town was perfect, and I LOVED Anders. Such a sweet read!!
