So many of my friends love What the River Knows. I really wanted to love it as well. While I maynot have loved it I didn't hate it either. I loved the setting. I didn't care for either of the characters and their antics.

I was randomly browsing kindle unlimited and ran across Devil's Line. It sounded interesting so I decided to give it a read.  I devoured this volume and immediately added the second volume to my kindle library. It kind of reminded me of Twilight but darker. Vampires are called devils in this series.

I don't normally read too much horror but Starling House was more of a cozy horror. I don't know if cozy horror is such a thing but this book was cozy. There was definitely some scary and bloody scenes but not too bad. I liked Arthur and Opal as characters. Even the house had character that I enjoyed.

I love this cover! Eternally Yours is the second anthology that I've read this year and I've discovered that anthologies just aren't for me. I did enjoy some of the stories more then others. I will certainly check our some of the authors full stories.

The Sound of Stars started out so good. The ending ruined it for me though. A few things that I did like was the pop culture references used from book quotes and songs to make Janelle and Morris to become friends. The ending though I still have questions that weren't answered that need answered.

A Dirty Business was an enjoyable read. I just had a few things that I couldn't get past to rated it higher. Such as who just walks up to someone and pushes them against the wall and starts making out with them.  The ending just ends very abruptly and was quite the cliffhanger.

Reading Big Damn Hero bought the nostalgia that I have from the show. I loved getting reintroduced to the dysfunctional found space family. I liked that it tells some.of Mal's and Zoe's background with the brown coats. I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

This story started out strong for me but went down hill. I liked the characters well enough. Some of the scenes seemed a little cringe worthy to me. I just don't think it was my cup of tea.

I honestly wasn't sure if I was going to like it. I'm glad that I decided to give the book ago because I ended up loving it. It started a little Rocky but quickly picked up momentum. Fin is a total kickass mc. The twist and turns just kept coming.
