This book is a solid first book of a series. There is so much information and back story and I can't wait to see where it all goes. I loved Teriana. She is a strong character but relatable because she makes mistakes or goes with her gut even if it may doom her. Marcus is a morally grey character. I wanted more romance from them! But I am sure more is to come in the next installment after Dark Skies.

Wow, oh wow how I loved this one. I really suggest reading this one after Dark Shores. It just flows much better as a second book. The plot in this is so action packed and so emotionally raw. I was crying by the end. In my review for Dark Shores I said I felt the lack of chemistry between our leads but in Dark Skies I feel all the chemistry between Lydia and Killian. I love them as leads and Killian is just such a noble main character. Now I will anxiously await the release of Gilded Serpent in April!

I really liked this story. There are people who don't like it or think it's overrated but it was very magical. I love the writing style and it was so imaginative. I love that the MC sees her feelings in color. It's so unique. There were some slow parts but I really adored how it played out. Can't wait to start the next one!

This was a wild ride. I know it's the second book of the series but it felt like its own story because it's in Tella's POV instead. There is way more happening in this story as well which gives it a different feeling than the first book. Can't wait to see how it all ends in Finale

What an awesome ending to this fantastical series! So many twists and turns. The fates were such a cool addition to the story. Each book was more magical than the last.

SJM is such an excellent writer. I have read this book twice and enjoyed it just as much, if not more, the second time around. Yes, it starts off slow but it is the first book of the series and there is so much foreshadowing and groundwork being laid for the bigger story. The action starts in the last 30% of the book. But it was so worth the wait.

Yess! This book is perfection in every way. This story reaches new levels and heights.
As Tamlin and Feyre prepare for their wedding day, Feyre is nothing more than a shell of who she was. Completely broken and depressed from the events from Under the Mountain. Tamlin is on a completely different page dealing with his own stuff.
Suddenly, Rhysand decides to call in on their bargain...
And this is where things get good.
Please read this second installment of the series, you won't be disappointed.
