The Husky & His White Cat Shizun: Erha He Ta De Bai Mao Shizun (Novel) Vol. 6 by Rou Bao Bu Chi Rou

i say this every time i read a new erha volume but this one makes me want to cry.  so many heart wrenching storylines in this one, the one with nangong xi and ye wangxi, the quality cousin time with mo ran and xue meng, and the anticipation of mo ran finally deciding he needs to tell chu wanning of his past life but he just can’t bring himself to do it quite yet… i am patiently (not) waiting for the next volume

truly an emotional rollercoaster. i won’t lie, i absolutely hated the love interest at first but he really did grow on me. the way that their relationship grows so organically and messily strikes a chord with me. there’s something about losing each other but meeting again every time, and having to grow to realize that you want to make that effort to build that relationship you want. kate goldbeck starting out writing fanfic really makes so much sense to me. it’s so engaging, chapter to chapter, and i’m so excited to read anything else she writes in the future.
