I went in blind not sure if this was going to be for me. I was curious about the genre and for a while I enjoyed it, but for me it started to drag on and it felt a bit repetitive.
I was also aware that the book had been quite hyped up and popular for a while, but tried to steer away from that when reading.
In the end it didn’t work out for me, I did finish it, but some points were predictable and I even cringed once, which is don’t often do.

Lovely story. I feel like the blurb sold me on a different story, so not exactly as I expected. But with that being said, this is not a genre I read a lot. Very vivid imagery and setting. I throughly enjoyed travelling alongside the main character through this journey.
