Did not finish book. Stopped at 21%.
I'm not the biggest fan of mary-sue kind of characters, or fantasy as a genre. But I think it was mostly the characters and their weird cliché portrayal that made me most uncomfortable. This felt more like something I'd find on Wattpad in 2016 than a viral book💀 I can see why people who read stuff like Colleen Hoover would like this, but it's not something I consider a book worth finishing.

I genuinely love this book; in the beginning I was sceptical as someone who's never really read non-fiction privately, but the message this book has and what it means in today's times does become very visible the more one reads on.

I consider myself an activist and someone who will wholeheartedly stand behind the fight for people's wellbeing and their lives (and their freedom), and I think that if you do too, but are losing hope; read this.
This book might give you strength to continue protests, boycotts, donations, etc., even if things aren't looking up these days in many countries.

A quote from the book I find meaning in:
"Imagine for a minute, what it would be like to inhabit a body without fear, without the need for fear. Just imagine what we could do. Just imagine the world that we could build."
