Now Mrs. Jahquel know she had some twist and turns in this book but the ending...whoa! I love Quameer for Capri and I love the natural, uno rushed progression of their story. I feel like she rushed head first into het marriage with Naheim and her relationship with Kincaid so it's refreshing to see (read) her take her time.

Beware of T-H-E!

This book was really good. This was a new to me author and I thoroughly enjoyed it and their writing style. I thought the plot of the book was interesting. And this book was indeed horror. Poor La'Quishia lived a life! Poor little child was put through the ringer. I need a physical copy of this book. It was that GOOD!!!!

3.5 stars. I liked the plot and overall story. It kept me interested. I liked Tempo and Dare both individually and as a couple. It had a little spiciness which was good. But at certain times I found myself drifting off. This was a new to me author and maybe ill try something else because even tho this is my preferred genre something about it just didn't fully click for me.

4.75

I gave this book 4.75 stars out of a perfect 5 because I personally would've like two thongs to happen. Would've liked for it to be longer. Now, I understand it was meant to be a short, quick read but it was GOOD! Very intriguing and interesting. It is captivating and grabs a hold of your attention and doesn't let it go. So I could've and would've read more 😀 and the second thing I would've liked is if we really got a backstory on granddaddy and how he turned out the way he did to do the things that he did in the book. And now that I write this out I have a question: is granddad responsible for sending grandma to the "upper room"? Overall, good boom. This was a new to me author and I'm glad I read it bc the twist that were turned in this book were something else 😂 I liked it a lot.

Pretty good read. This is a new to me author and I'm not disappointed. Liked the storylining. Even the historical fiction aspect of it. Not as scary as I would've liked but it's decent.

Lots of twist & turns. Did not see the ending coming AT ALL!!! I was stunned and read over it three times as if that would change anything 😂. I love Cappadonna and I see why all the ladies on Facebook love him too. I love the Delgato twins bad. I also love Alaia and I want her to get her happy ending. She has had a life I tell you! But it's so much chaos and mayhem taking place in this book and I love it. Very well written book and great story. But Jahquel always writes great stories.
