This Spell Can't Last by Isabel Sterling

The prequel I didn’t think I needed
After I read the two main novels, I was stuck. I didn’t want the series to be over, I’m hoping for a third novel, and I just couldn’t let this realm of witches go. I turned to the novella that I didn’t want to read. Because who cares about what happened in New York when there are more pressing concerns, right? I’m so glad that I read it though because it really does help to understand what actually happened and who Tori was.

Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens

This book started off slow, but quickly built steam. I loved the detailed descriptions of the marsh and wildlife.
Style by Chelsea M. Cameron

This book is a cute coming-of-age queer romance. However, I was pitched this book as a spicy romance which I found to be an inaccurate representation of the novel.
Lock and Key by Sarah Dessen
2.0
I thought this book was cute and had a good message, but the writing seemed rudimentary and it took FOREVER for the characters to see any real growth and development.
That Summer by Sarah Dessen

That Summer was just ok. I am definitely thinking that Sarah Dessen may not be a writer for me, but it was a cute, easy read that I read with my Jr. High reading buddy.
