spoiled myself and read the synopsis for the later parts,, Spoilerwhat the hell!!!!!! they did lutz so dirty, pati yung fam :((((. sila, esp si lutz, pinaka-nagtyaga para kay myne tapos magfafade lang sila sa background pagdating ng part 3?? bruvvvv I'm not sure tuloy if I want to continue reading hnnghhhh especially with the synopsis ng part 2 na more on political manuevering since mas trip ko yung initial entrepreneural plot point
mwah!! That was goddamn beautiful and poignant. No words, ganda ng flow ng chapters sa isa't isa and yung unti-unting pag-intertwine ng mga buhay ng mga narrators.
hhhh that was so pretty talaga, what an experience.. The Last Time I Saw Mother vibe pero mas modern.
haisttttttttt how do u write this pretty,, sobrang :')
also amazed at the restraint. doesnt overwrite :000

I enjoyed Evelyn Hugo, Malibu Rising, and Carrie Soto so I thought I should check this out because I'm still craving for tea
First of, this was a fun book in a format I really enjoy. Also enjoyed the setting and just vibing along to the events and the discrepancy between each character's version.
However, I was expecting something really hard core, because this was the rock and roll scene!! People crashing and burn.
There was so much build-up as you read trying to figure out how this up and up band abruptly ended. And the climax fell flat in the face of that build-up. Maybe that's the point, but even then, the whole thing just didn't feel as gritty as I was expecting.
Maybe I would have enjoyed this more if I read this as an audiobook but I feel like this was too short and vanilla for what it was trying to depict. Yeah there was some serious drug abuse going on but, I don't know, I just didn't get the sense of the consequences enough.. I don't know how to describe it. Just that, even though some of what was happening was really messed up, the writing made it feel bland.
goddamnn!! she did it again!! How does Taylor Jenkins Reid able to consistently put out such bangers? The way she can get into her characters headspace so deeply is so amazing
basedd I didn't expect this from Brandon Sanderson
I really enjoyed this even if very white yung sci-fi vibes (I think it's the cliche feudalism despite the futuristic setting) niya pero 'di ko mapinpoint bakit, I think it's the payoff ng ending na very obvious in retrospect and ig mas nagdwedwell ako sa fantasy so v nice to read a sci-fi na minimal investment needed to grasp the background
