This book was beautiful. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because it was difficult to read towards the end because the examination of Agnes’ grief. I struggled with this part of the story. But this story was beautifully told.

This book hit me in the gut. Reading about the inner workings of the publishing world while actively querying and trying to get published hit a little too close to home. But I really enjoyed this book, hence my 5 star rating.
