i love dostoyevskys work but this book was just not it for me. i found this book so utterly boring and hard to read. i literally read more than half and i still had no idea what was going on.

i absolutely loved this book for how well-written and thought provoking it was. Mary Shelley does an amazing job showcasing the dynamics of "creator vs creation" and i think its genius.

It was a bit hard and wordy to read (in its defense, the book was written in the 19th century) but overall an interesting and engaging read. It just completely changed everything I knew about the monster, Frankenstein.
