I want this to be a movie so I can binge watch it every Christmas. It is very 'red white and royal blue' meets 'rise of the guardians' meets 'nightmare before Christmas'.

I should have checked the content warnings before starting cause this was not for me. I'm quite sand about it cause I had enjoyed the house of night series many years ago and wanted to like this. I enjoyed the writing and the character but couldn't get past chapter 6.

I was reccomended the book by my best friend, it is not my genre of choice I don't like thrillers. And yet, this book is clever and well written. And I had to rate it highly even though, had my friend not reccomended it I probably wouldn't have finished it. So if you like thrillers you will love this.
