it was a good book, i read it back in 6th grade nearly 3 years ago but i had already seen the movie about 10 times before i read the book and it wasn't bad, i remember enjoying the book and feeling like i was reading about myself because when i was younger kids use to laugh at me for reading a book which they still do but at this point the pleasure of experiencing a new world is more powerful then their words.i liked it and it's a perfect read for children.

I mean it's not bad if you are under the age of 10, but for a 13 year old, this felt like a really boring read, though it was definitely fascinating I didn't really love it.
